We Offer Hassle-Free Installation: We charge no extra for LED sign installation compared to regular sign installation. We do this to incentivize homeowners to choose a professional hassle-free installation over DIY. We only recommend DIY installation for homeowners who have experience doing electrical work.
Power Source Requirements: LED backlighting requires access to a power source. It’s important to identify an existing electrical circuit and how you can access it prior to placing an order. If there is no pre-existing power source, it will likely be costly to have an electrician run extra wiring.
Common Installation Locations: The most common and easiest area for installation is around the garage door, either above or to either side of the door. This is because there’s electrical access and a place to hide the LED driver unit.
Alternative Installation Locations: Some clients install their signs around the front door or on a column, as there is often a pre-existing light to tap into for power. However, this can create additional complexity since the LED driver needs to be hidden from view. It’s important to thoroughly consider the installation location if LED backlighting is desired.
