Threaded Rod Pins: This system requires much more accuracy and precision than cleats. We don’t recommend using pins to mount your sign unless you need stand-offs to space the sign away from the wall.

Our team offers a professional number sign installation service designed to make the process quick and easy for you.
Here’s how it works:
- Place your order and check your email
- You must sign the installation paperwork we send to you, then we can arrange for an installation date.
- On the evening before the installation you will get a friendly email or text message reminder.
- Upon arrival we will let you know we’re on site. We start by carefully removing your old sign. If the holes from your old sign will be visible we will do our best to color match and patch the holes. Please be aware it’s not possible to get a flawless match but we can get very close! If the holes will be covered by the new sign we fill them with clear silicone caulking unless you request otherwise.
- The next step is to use a scanner that checks for wires or pipes around the installation location.
- Using a drill we will precisely make holes into your wall. Dust will be blown away from the location and the holes will be cleaned.
- From there we install your new custom address sign fastening it securely to the wall using specially designed magnetic cleats or our peg system. At the end of the work we do a thorough cleanup and will ask you to check out your new sign.
- Stand back and enjoy the results!
If this applies to you we need to know details about the mounting surface. If the surface isn’t flat you’ll potentially need stand-offs or other hardware we can ship with your sign. A good example of this is board and baton or uneven brick.

When opting for our professional LED sign installation service, this is how the process looks:
- We mount the sign as per usual
- We run LED wiring through the wall
- We waterproof the hole around the wiring
- We then secure the LED power driver to the inside wall with screws and apply clean cable management techniques to make sure the setup looks professional!
Once this prep work is complete, a licensed electrician will need to connect the LED driver to an existing electrical circuit, such as a garage light or outlet, which typically takes around 1 hour and is very straight forward.
This step is the client’s responsibility to arrange and pay for. You may contact your own electrician, or we can arrange for one to reach out to you if you’d prefer. Expect the cost to be around $125, in most cases its a very quick job because we have everything prepared for them.
For safety and compliance with Ontario homeowners insurance policies, you’re required to get a qualified electrician complete the final electrical connection. This ensures the installation meets all standards, maximizing both performance and safety.

On the majority of homes we mount horizontal number signs. Our small signs are designed mostly for townhouses where the front of the home is very close to the street. If your residence can fit a large sign it will generally look better and offer superior visibility. 95% of our clients put up horizontal signs, however if your home needs to mount a sign onto a thin column or post, then a vertical sign will work perfectly.
Absolutely! The signs can be mounted on just about any exterior surface (hardy board, aluminum siding, brick, stucco, vinyl, etc).
No, we do not offer any kind of acrylic or plastic house number signs. Acrylic house numbers have several drawbacks.
They can fade after just 4-5 years, which is inconsistent with our promise of a lifetime warranty.
Additionally, manufacturing those large acrylic letters by cutting them out from a sheet generates nearly 50% material waste, making it a less eco-friendly option.

Tools you’ll need depend on the surface you’re mounting to. On a typical installation these tools are required:

Depending on the surface, we will use different compounds. We may apply colored silicone, concrete repair compounds, wood filler, etc.
Finally we can apply paint or granules to attempt to color match the surface.
Keep in mind no color match will ever be 100% perfect and seamless, but our professional team is trained to get as close as possible.
All our signs are designed to look great universally, so it ultimately comes down to personal preference. The only exception is “Optical Aesthetics” which was designed to look best on new contemporary homes.
